Playground between K-2 and 3-5 buildings The new elementary school, Alamosa Elementary, in Alamosa will be opening their doors later this month for the 2011- 2012 school year . Before the 2010-2011 school year ended I was able to come and visit the new facilities with all the kids from evans elementary school. Kids are excited about the new change and it was wonderful to hear many of them make positive comments like " With a school like this, It makes me want to come to school everyday". Quite honest after visiting the facilities it made me want to be an elementary student again. The good thing about the change is that all kids from Polston, Boyd, and Evans will be able to share and enjoy this new facility at the beggining of this upcoming school year.
